The Thackeray's: Happy Birthday Baby Bear!

I know, I know, I am a neglectful blogger but I am apologizing and begging for forgivness since as many of you know my life has been choas over the last 6 months. We are going to pick up right here on this day because there is no way in one blog I could cover all the adventures, ups and downs we have had since April. I may do some random blogging that will include fun pictures and stories from that time but for now there is no time like the present!

Bree Ann is now offically 9!!! This just seems INSANE to me! Here are some fun facts...

*Favorite Color: Pink Pink Positivly Pink
*Favorite Animal: Horse
*Best Friend: Aleksia Checketts
*Favorite school subject: She loves school, LOVES IT, and excels at everything. Seriously she is so bummed out when there are breaks and days off.
*When she grows up she wants to be own a Horse Ranch and have a famer Husband...but not a grumpy old farmer (her words :)...and she wants to be a teacher and a Mommy!!!
*If she is not at school, playing school, or making herself math tests for fun, she is crafting! She will cut, glue, glitter and paint for hours and hours.

Bree Ann is a joy truly an anchor in our family.

Today we celebrated her Birthday will a group of wonderful friends. The theme was Mermaidpalooza! Well thats what I called it anyways. She got a book from a book fair that had a ton of Mermaid craft ideas, decorations etc...and she decided like 7 months ago that, that was what she was going to do for her birthday so, that is what we did.

We will start with the birthday girl!!! and yes she really is just that cool

I painted this mermaid castle just as it looked in her book. She was so thrilled with it and I am not gonna lie I am pretty impressed myself

Her Happy Birthday Cake! Its a sand castle! The shells are real ones that she picked up at the beach this last summer (seriously cleaned) and then the sand is just brown sugar and sugar combined.

Let the Epic Craftiness begin!

We made sea crowns! These girls were really creative it was so fun to beable to just sit back and watch them come up with their own ideas instead of having to coach them through everything. I really do love this whole coming into their own stage is amazing to watch as a mother.

Presents!!! Bree really has a great group of girls as friends they are so polite and just fun to be around. Just needed to point out that major blessing in her life and in mine. Bree and Lily

This is the before mentioned Best Friend Aleksia Checketts! These friendships are the rarities in life and the kind that make the biggest impact on us growing up. I am super in love with the little girl she brings so much to Bree and I know Bree Brings a lot to her as well! Honestly they are actually quite opposite in their personalities, Bree is very straight and narrow and shy and Alekisa is all over the place and full of energy and not shy at all...I think together they balance each other out and it works well to make them BFFF's (Best Freckled Friends Forever)
