Week 2

wow 2 weeks have just flown by! We have been really enjoying this time spent with our family. This week it was HOT so we didn't really do to much, mostly we just relaxed and hung out. For 2 of the days we spent our time at Lodi Lake just enjoying the cool water and warm sand. The kids love going to lake it is a chance for them to get as filthy as possible and they know that I can do absoulutly nothing about it! It is finally cooling down and next week it is supposed to be much cooler so hopefully we will be able to do a wider variety of activities. I hope this finds you all well.

They would dig these "hot lakes" all along the waters edge, the water warmed up quickly because it was so shallow and in the sun and they just sat in them lol.

Bree Ann built a "sand owl" it is so darling I was very impressed

A lot of my pictures I took from way way far away it was fun to just sit there clicking the shutter open and close and catching some real live action shots from the kids.

All day long this was our view, I would say Skyler pull up your pants, then Skyler would pull up his pants, and as he was walking away he would pull them back down! I got tired of our little monologe so I decided just to photograph it and save it for his wedding video...
