The Holidays are upon us with only a few more days until the big day! The kids are now out of school and I am sure by January 4th we will all be ready for them to return to their normal routines! This past week we have enjoyed the company of family and friends being with loved ones makes this season so much better. We visited the "Lights Before Christmas" a walk through light thing in Layton City Park, and of course visited Santa Claus. However today we had a wonderful inviation to participate in Bree Ann's Kindergarten teachers chirstmas tradition. Every year her family and a group of voulenteers collect donated items and create a outdoor mall of sorts for families in need. The families are bussed into this event and us the "host families" sort of adopt them and help them find things that they need. We then get to share a bowl of soup and treats. There were horses and pony rides that of course Bree had to take on. She was so excited to finally get to ride on a pony so please enjoy these videos of her first ride.
